I'm looking to build my first personal computer after not having a proper one since 2005. I used to rely on my family's old PC, but it's broken now, and I've been streaming on my PS5 as a hobby. I'm ready to invest in a PC that can handle streaming. I really need a beginner's guide to everything, including how to plan my budget. If anyone knows good YouTube videos or can explain things in simple terms, that would be awesome! Just to clarify, I get the peripherals like monitors, mice, and keyboards, but I'm totally lost when it comes to choosing a motherboard and other components.

I made a sample build for you on PCPartPicker: [Build List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dzt9Jw). This setup will handle any game at 1080p on high settings. If you can stretch your budget a bit more, you could upgrade for more VRAM.
If all this seems daunting, consider going for a prebuilt system. Just find one that fits your budget and check out what components it has online to see reviews and what others think.
I didn’t want to go for a prebuilt because I heard they're pricier, but I hadn't thought about using them to learn more. I'll look into that, thanks!
First off, what's your budget looking like? That'll help in figuring out the right setup for your needs.
I’m not sure what a good budget is, but I’m willing to spend at least $1,000 to get something that lasts.
Check out this YouTube video I found; it covers a lot and should be pretty helpful for beginners! Here’s the link: [YouTube Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1fxZ-VWs2U). They're likely to update with new info soon as well.

Awesome, that helps a ton! Thanks for sharing!
