Help Choosing Between Two Motherboards

I'm looking for advice on which motherboard I should buy. I've found two great options, both priced under $150, but I'm not sure which one to choose. If one is better but significantly more expensive, should I go for the cheaper option instead? Here are the two I'm considering: the Asus ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI and the Asus X870 AYW GAMING WIFI.

The X870 definitely has the better chipset, but you might not notice a huge difference unless you're really pushing your setup. It's likely going to cost you more without a significant performance boost for most users.

Honestly, both boards may be more than you need. Think about whether you'll actually use all the features they come with!

I think the B850 will do just fine for your needs. The X870 tends to be pricier and includes features that aren't necessary for about 99% of gamers out there. I personally loved my ROG STRIX board!

If the pricier motherboard has essential I/O features that the cheaper one lacks, I'd recommend getting the more expensive option. Otherwise, the cheaper one should suffice. Just keep in mind that the X870 comes with USB4 support.
