Hey everyone! I recently formatted an old 2TB Samsung 990EVO drive that I had previously used with Linux. Now that I'm back on Windows, it's just not showing up. I might be a little rusty since I haven't used Windows in a while, and I really want to make space to play some new games. Could anyone lend a hand? Also, just to clarify, I had Windows 11 installed on another NVMe drive. Thanks!

It sounds like the drive might not have been initialized properly or maybe it doesn't have a drive letter assigned. You can check that using the disk management tool in Windows. Sometimes, you might need to do it through the command line or even use a third-party program if it’s not detected right away.
You might want to check if the drive shows up in the BIOS. If Windows isn't recognizing it, there could be an issue with either the drive being connected improperly or a driver issue. Just make sure it’s properly seated and getting power. If it’s detected in the BIOS, head to the disk management tool in Windows to create a new partition and format it.
Make sure you're checking in the disk management section to see if it shows up there. Sometimes drives just need a little nudge to get going. If it's not detected at all, there may be a deeper issue like a dead drive or a conflict in your slots.
