Hey everyone! I'm trying to put together my first gaming and productivity PC and could use some advice from those with more experience. I've been getting help from knowledgeable friends, but I still feel like I might be missing something important. Here's my parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PGZzsp. I'm focusing on bundle discounts for the CPU, motherboard, and memory to keep costs down. My goal is to build something that's solid enough for gaming and general tasks for at least the next four years without going overboard. I want to make sure I grab my parts soon before prices spike. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I noticed you’re using an X870E motherboard, which might be overkill unless you specifically need the extra PCI-E connections. Consider switching to the X870 as it’ll save you around $80-100. Also, for your RAM, going with 6000 CL30 could give you a nice little performance bump without breaking the bank. Lastly, the Hyper 620S cooler is on the pricey side; look into the Thermalright Phantom Spirit SE—it’s just as good and about $10-15 cheaper!
I picked the board and RAM mostly for the bundle discounts, but I can double-check if I miscalculated. The X870 actually bumped up the price for me by around $200, and switching RAM could lead to losing that discount. I’ll definitely consider your suggestions, though, especially since I thought the cooler was a good deal!
