I was watching videos on my Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 yesterday when suddenly the screen turned off and went completely black. I can still hear the Windows boot-up sound, which suggests the laptop itself is working. I've tried searching for solutions online, including asking ChatGPT, but nothing has helped so far. I'm running Windows 11 Pro, so any help would be appreciated!

I had the same issue and connecting my laptop to a monitor worked for me. It's a bummer, though. I really want to fix the laptop screen without relying on an external display.
When you start your laptop, does it show the Dell logo at all? If not, it might help to connect your laptop to a TV or monitor using an HDMI cable. From what you've described, it could be an issue with a faulty display flex cable.
