I'm curious if a 500W power supply is sufficient to run a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9060 XT GPU. What are your thoughts on this?

Make sure to check your PSU's label for how much 12V power it can provide. The formula is Volts multiplied by Amps equals Watts. For instance, if a 500W PSU only delivers 12V at 18A, that equals just 216 watts, which isn't enough! However, if it can provide 12V at 41A, that's around 492 watts, which should work. So, quality matters!
Consider your entire PC setup. A high-end CPU might consume over 200W on its own, and your GPU could do the same. If you have additional peripherals, I wouldn’t rely on a 500W PSU unless it’s of high quality. But if your setup is simpler, like a mid-range CPU, a single NVMe SSD, and one case fan, then 500W should be adequate.
Sapphire actually recommends a minimum of 450W, so you should be good with a 500W PSU.
It should work fine, but if you ever consider upgrading to a more power-hungry GPU down the line, you’ll probably need a stronger PSU. Just keep that in mind!
Yeah, you should be fine. Manufacturers often overestimate the power needs to accommodate those who might pair a less efficient GPU with a super high-end CPU. So, you should be alright!

What about using a 3050 with a 14900k? Would that be a bad combo?
