Hey folks! I'm currently working on my PC build, and I've set up a 360mm radiator as an intake with the pump positioned at the bottom. I'm wondering if it's alright that some of the CPU is exposed due to this orientation? I can't change the setup without spending more money, and I really need to know if I should add a tiny heatsink at the exposed tips or if it's not a big deal. I really don't have the option to rotate the radiator or pump due to size limits and potential noise issues. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Here's a link to an image of my setup: https://imgur.com/a/Xh2VPO3. Thanks!

You're totally fine! There’s nothing critical under that exposed part of the CPU. The cores are situated beneath the metal heat spreader, so it shouldn’t matter if it’s uncovered.
No worries at all! Your setup seems okay as it is. Just make sure there’s good airflow around the components, and you should be good to go!
Honestly, it’s all fine. But hey, if you're really feeling unsure, it might not hurt to check in with the manufacturer about that. Just don’t let minor issues stress you out too much!
It's actually designed with that exposure in mind. The new AM5 CPUs have an offset die under the heat spreader, which means the exposed area doesn't cause any issues.
Thanks! I appreciate the reassurance. I’ll keep an eye on temps and airflow just in case!
