How can I connect my PS4 to a VGA monitor without issues?

I recently got an HDMI to VGA converter to connect my PS4 to a VGA monitor, but I'm having trouble. Initially, the monitor displayed the PS loading screen, but it quickly went blank and now shows a "No Input Signal" message. I've tried checking all the cables and the adapter multiple times. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your HDMI to VGA adapter might not actively convert the signal, which can happen with cheaper models. This often leads to the PS4 outputting a resolution that your VGA monitor can't handle. A powered or active adapter is usually the way to go. Try putting your PS4 into safe mode to set it to 480p, which could help restore the connection.

Thanks for the tip! If I set the PS4 to 480p, won't that solve the problem alone?
