I recently built a gaming PC and ran into some issues with fan placement. Initially, I couldn't use my AIO cooler in the top position due to my dual chamber case design, so I opted for a tower cooler instead. I bought a new set of Interstellar V2 fans for the top, aiming to keep things aesthetically pleasing. However, I accidentally got the reverse version, which means that when the pretty side is visible, the fans act as intakes. I asked ChatGPT if there was a way to have them act as exhaust while keeping the aesthetic side facing down, but it claimed I'd just have to flip the fans, ruining the look. I then inquired if getting the standard version would allow me to have the pretty side visible while functioning as exhaust, but ChatGPT suggested the ugly strut side would still be exposed. I've seen setups where top and rear exhaust fans have the pretty side visible. Is it really impossible to achieve this with either the forward or reverse fans?

Unfortunately, you'll need to return the fans and get the correct orientation. The fan blades have a specific direction and can't simply be flipped. If you buy the forward version of those fans, it should allow you to have the pretty side visible while they act as exhaust. It’s the best way to keep your setup looking nice!

Thanks for the insights! If I grab the forward version, will they actually exhaust properly while keeping the aesthetic look?
