Having Trouble Installing Windows 11 on My PC – Help!

I recently tried to clean install Windows 11 on my Asus ProArt with an AMD Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA GeForce 4070, but I got an error saying my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11. I followed the steps to create a bootable 64GB USB with the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool and went into the BIOS to disable fast boot and secure boot. After selecting the USB as the boot drive, the installation process started but failed after checking the system requirements. I even tried with secure boot enabled, and still received the same error. I'm at my wit's end since I don't have a recovery key for BitLocker and I'm unsure if I should just wipe the USB and install Windows 10 instead. Any advice?

Make sure Secure Boot is definitely turned back on. It's crucial for installing Windows 11 in UEFI mode. If you still encounter the same error, you might need to consider creating a new USB with Windows 10, since it might bypass the issues you're facing with Windows 11.

I appreciate the advice! I'm okay with wiping the drive clean if needed. I'll give that a try.

It’s essential to provide details about your hardware in your post; that can help others offer better advice. Also, make sure you've got the latest firmware updates for your motherboard if you're struggling with UEFI settings.

You should check if your PC has TPM enabled as well. For Windows 11, TPM must be active, and the boot type should be UEFI. In case you want to delete partitions, just ensure you're following a reliable guide. Your linked guide looks like a decent start.

It sounds like the issue is with the Secure Boot. You need to have Secure Boot enabled for Windows 11 to install properly. Just confirm that in your BIOS settings and try again. If you don't care about the data on the drive, you can boot from your USB and delete the drive's partitions. That should allow for a clean installation as if the drive were new.

When you were checking for the BitLocker recovery key, did you try logging into your Microsoft account from another device? Sometimes the recovery keys get saved there even if you can't see your PC associated with it.
