What’s the best way to perform a clean Windows install on my SSD?

Hey everyone! I'm building my first gaming PC after my laptop gave up on me, and I managed to save the SSD (a 512GB one) and an HDD from it. I plan to use the old SSD for the OS and some programs, and I'm getting a new 2TB SSD just for games.

I think if I plug in my old SSD, it will boot the Windows 10 installation from my laptop. I want to back up some files, but after that, I'd love to clear everything and do a clean install of a new OS. I'm considering switching to Windows 10 IoT LTSC.

So, what's the best way to clean install Windows on an SSD that already has an existing Windows installation?

When you’re installing Windows, start with drive management. During the installation, you can delete the old partitions on your SSD. This way, you'll have a fresh slate to work with!
