I've been using my PC without issues for about a year, but something went wrong after I got home from work yesterday. Now, when I turn it on, it reaches the ASRock motherboard screen and then powers off, only to restart right away by itself. This keeps happening until I switch off the PSU. I can't even access the BIOS to check boot options, and I'm hesitant to buy new parts without knowing what's really causing the problem. Any advice on diagnosing this issue would be super helpful!

Try unplugging everything and reseating your components, starting with the RAM. Sometimes, just removing and reinserting them can fix the issue. Don't forget to check your graphics card and storage devices as well. And make sure all power supply cables are firmly connected. If you're still having trouble, you might want to test with one stick of RAM at a time.
Check for diagnostic lights on your motherboard. Many boards have indicators that can show what's wrong, or even a seven-segment display for error codes. You'll need to glance at the manual for your specific board to decode those signals. And if you're feeling adventurous, try booting from a USB with Linux on it to see if your Windows installation is acting up. You might even recover some files before going for a full reinstall! Just keep in mind that getting to the BIOS is usually possible even if Windows isn't booting up properly.
Good luck!
Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check the manual and see if I can spot any lights or codes.
I actually did try moving everything to a different room for a clean setup and it worked perfectly! Must have been a power issue with my previous spot. Thanks for the help!
