Having Trouble with My iPhone Replacement—What Can I Do?

I've been dealing with some frustrating issues with my iPhone 15 Plus that I got from Bell about 14 months ago. After the first year, it started glitching while charging; when I tried to open an app, another one would pop up instead. I thought it was a charger problem, so Apple replaced it, but the issues persisted. I was told to reset my phone, which didn't help either. After experiencing more problems, I received a replacement phone, believing it was a return of my original device. However, I learned this replacement was mine to keep. Unfortunately, the same glitching behavior returned, leading to more replacements. I've had three different phones in just a couple of months, and I'm now being referred to engineers because it's suspected to be a software issue. I'm feeling pretty ignored by Apple and just want to resolve this—it's so time-consuming, especially as a student. I even asked about compensation, but the best they offered was a phone case, which feels inadequate. What options do I have? What should I realistically ask for?

From what you're describing, it might not just be a software issue—it could also be related to the charger or even the outlet you're using. Have you tried plugging the phone into a different outlet or using a surge protector? Just to rule out any electrical problems. If you've done all that and it keeps happening, definitely escalate your case with Apple and keep asking for something more satisfactory in terms of compensation.

It seems like a good idea to start fresh with your phone as a last resort. Try resetting it without restoring from a backup; sometimes that helps clear out persistent software issues. And don't stress about using your phone while it's charging—it's totally fine! It sounds like there's more to it, though, especially since you've gone through multiple replacements. Keep pushing for proper support from Apple. You deserve better than just a case for your troubles.
