What Price Makes a 9060 XT 16GB Worth Buying?

I'm considering replacing my RTX 2060 6GB with a 9060 XT 16GB, which would be a pretty substantial upgrade. The card currently costs around €430 where I live, but I saw it selling for about €380 a month ago. Since its MSRP was roughly $349, or around €300, I'm wondering whether €430 is still a reasonable price or if it's worth waiting for prices to drop again.

The 16GB of VRAM is one of the card's main advantages, and memory costs are also putting upward pressure on graphics card prices. Because of that, several people expect pricing to stay high or increase rather than return to the original MSRP.

I'd personally wait for it to fall below €400 again, especially if you aren't in a hurry. There are still previous-generation cards available if you need something sooner, so you don't necessarily have to accept €430.

That was my thinking too, but the price rose to €469 while I was discussing it, so I may hold out a little longer and see whether it settles back near €400.

The price probably isn't going to improve soon. These cards were available below MSRP for a while, but that period seems to be over. If you need the upgrade, buying now may be safer than waiting and seeing the price climb further.

I paid about €360 for mine in June 2025, and current prices are closer to €500 in some places. At €430, it may not be a bargain, but it looks reasonable compared with the recent trend. If you already want the card, I wouldn't wait too long.
