Is My PC Build Good Enough for 1440p Gaming?

I've finally put together a PC build and I'm curious about its performance at 1440p gaming. I'm not aiming for top-of-the-line specs, but I want to play games like Space Marine 2 on high settings and have a system that can last for a few years. Here's what I have:

- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Processor
- MSI GeForce RTX 5070 TI SHADOW 3X OC 16GB
- Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX WIFI DDR5 Motherboard
- Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 6000MHz 2x16GB RAM
- Kingston NV3 1000GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD
- HYDRO K PRO 850W PSU
- Corsair Nautilus 240 CPU Cooler

Do you think this configuration will hold up for my gaming needs?

That's a good setup for 4k as well, not just 1440p! You should have a blast with it.

Overall, this is a fantastic combo for 1440p. You might want to consider a different PSU, though—like a Corsair RM850x or NZXT C850—for a bit more reliability. But otherwise, you’re good to go!

Would a Corsair RMe Series RM750e be enough? I'm trying to keep costs down.

You’ve made a great choice; this build should be more than capable for 1440p gaming, even for future titles. Just be prepared for possible upgrades in a couple of years if the gaming industry ramps up. Good luck!

One thing I'd look into is upgrading your SSD. The Kingston NV3 isn't the best option out there, as it’s low-tier without a DRAM cache. Everything else looks good, though!

Your build looks solid! Just a couple of suggestions: if you can, swap the motherboard for a B650E chipset to get PCI-E 5.0 support. Also, consider upgrading to an ATX3.1 power supply since it's a crucial part that you shouldn’t skimp on. Check out PSU tier lists to see some good options!

I can't find any B650E boards around here. I did see the ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI for about €80 more. Do you think that's a good option?

Yeah, that sounds like a decent choice given the price! It depends on how much you want that extra performance boost from PCI-E 5.0.
