I accidentally subscribed to an app, canceled it, and submitted a refund request through Apple's support system within about five minutes. This is my first time requesting a refund. How likely is it that the charge will be refunded, and how long might it take to receive the money if the request is approved?

If the request is denied, you can usually ask Apple for another review. If it’s rejected again, the payment provider generally won’t offer another refund route, so the final decision rests with Apple’s billing support.
There’s no guaranteed timeline or approval percentage. Some refunds appear within 5–7 business days after the payment clears, while others take longer. Keep an eye on the refund request status and your bank account rather than relying on an exact estimate.
Since you canceled quickly and reported the charge right away, you may have a reasonable chance, but approval isn’t guaranteed. Refund decisions depend on Apple’s review process and your purchase history. If approved, the money may take several business days to return, and in some cases it can take up to 30 days depending on the payment method and bank.

Thanks, that makes sense. I’ll wait for the decision and check with my bank if it’s approved but doesn’t show up right away.
