The list could be improved by moving to an AM5 platform if the total cost is close. A Ryzen 5 7600X with a B650 motherboard gives you stronger current performance and a much better future upgrade path. Use two RAM sticks if possible for dual-channel performance; starting with one 16GB stick may save money, but adding a matching stick later would be important. Also consider replacing the lowest-end NVMe drive and checking whether the monitor is actually a good value.
The CPU should be plenty for an RX 7700 XT, particularly at 1440p, where the graphics card will usually be the limiting component. CPU requirements depend on the games and settings you use, but this is generally a sensible pairing. The bigger concerns are the power supply, oversized case, and possibly the monitor price. A smaller case would fit the micro-ATX motherboard better, and a good 750–850W Gold-rated PSU would be a worthwhile upgrade.
I wouldn’t cut costs on the PSU. Look for a reputable 750W or 850W Gold model rather than settling for a weaker budget unit. Also compare the RX 7700 XT against newer cards such as the RTX 5060 Ti or RX 9060 XT if they are similarly priced. The 7700 XT can still be a good choice, but it should offer a clear price advantage.
