How well does the Samsung 57-inch Neo G9 handle gaming and everyday use?

I'm considering upgrading to Samsung's 57-inch Neo G9 for daily productivity and gaming. I mainly play World of Warcraft and Call of Duty, but I'd like to try more demanding games too. How has gaming been on this monitor with a PC or console? I've also heard about quality-control problems from the early production runs, so I'm wondering whether those issues have mostly been resolved after a couple of years. I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who owns one or has seriously considered buying it.

I own two of them, and the main thing to understand is how much rendering power the display requires. Even with a very powerful system, pushing this many pixels can limit your frame rate, especially in demanding games. A current high-end GPU is strongly recommended if you want to get close to the 240 Hz refresh rate.

I’m using a Sapphire Pulse Radeon 9070 XT, so I’m hoping it will perform well enough for the games I play.

I’ve been using one for about a year and haven’t had any problems with it. Gaming is extremely immersive, but the resolution is demanding—there are roughly twice as many pixels as a standard 4K monitor. In very demanding games, running maximum settings at anything close to 240 Hz usually requires technologies such as DLSS and frame generation, along with a high-end graphics card. With a top-tier GPU, my experience has been smooth in most games, but the monitor’s full refresh rate is difficult to take advantage of in newer titles.

That’s helpful. I’m planning to use a Sapphire Pulse Radeon 9070 XT, so I’m hoping it can handle most games reasonably well. Have you tried World of Warcraft or Call of Duty on the monitor?
