Why can’t my HP All-in-One run games smoothly?

I've got this HP All-in-One Desktop PC with an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, 8 GB RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. It has a Full HD 23.8" touchscreen and runs Windows 10 Home. I'm not very tech-savvy, but it struggles to play games or even open multiple tabs. Is my WiFi causing the issue? Everything else on the WiFi seems to work fine.

These specs are at the bare minimum for browsing these days. You might get Minecraft running on medium settings, but heavy gaming isn't feasible. You can't upgrade the GPU on an All-in-One, so saving up for a desktop build might be your best bet. Some All-in-Ones can even act as monitors if you decide to invest in a separate desktop later.

The main issue here is that your computer has only 8GB of RAM and no dedicated GPU. It’s more like an office machine than a gaming rig. What games are you trying to play? Most likely, you’re looking at a pretty solid level of struggle for anything demanding.

So if I got a less demanding game, would it work?

You’ve purchased a pretty low-end computer, unfortunately. It won’t handle most games well—likely no better than low graphics settings on something like Roblox. This computer is really designed for office tasks or schoolwork, not gaming.

Yup, the lack of a dedicated graphics card and just 8GB of RAM means this machine isn't built for gaming. If it's possible to upgrade the RAM, that could help a bit, but it won't make it a gaming powerhouse. You might be okay with lighter games like Minecraft or Valorant, but don’t expect much more.

So I guess those games might work?
