I've recently built a PC using a Ryzen 5600G with a discrete GPU. Right now, with the stock AMD cooler, I'm seeing temperatures between 47°C and 60°C while idling (I have Wallpaper Engine running in the background but paused during browsing or gaming). When I game, the temps range from 69°C to 73°C. I just applied new thermal paste, so I'm wondering if these temperatures are normal or if I should be concerned.

I've experienced higher temps with the stock cooler under load, but some cooler temps while idling. I eventually upgraded to a better cooler, which really helped with the load temps. But honestly, 73°C is still quite reasonable for a CPU under stress.
Your temps are completely normal, so no need to worry! It's common for the Ryzen 5600G to run in that range, especially under load. Just keep an eye on it, but you're in a safe zone.
Using the stock cooler is generally okay, but other air coolers could help manage temps even better. Just a quick tip: anything below 85°C is considered safe, so you're good!
Upgrading to a better cooler might improve performance, but honestly, your current temps are perfectly fine. If your stock cooler is doing the job, there's not much reason to swap unless you're looking for better acoustics or lower noise levels.
Thanks for the insight! I just want to make sure I'm not damaging anything with those temps.
