My Lenovo LOQ 15 laptop is about two years old, and the mouse pointer has recently started disappearing in Windows 11. The mouse still responds—you can hover over icons and open applications—but the cursor itself is invisible. Resetting the graphics driver with Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B sometimes brings it back, but it disappears again later. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse drivers, and using different mice, without success. Could this be related to a recent Windows or Intel Arc graphics update? The laptop uses an Intel Arc A-series GPU.

This appears to affect other systems using Intel Arc graphics as well, including desktops, so the GPU software is more likely the cause than the mouse itself. Check for a newer Intel graphics driver, and if the problem started after an update, try rolling back to the previous driver version.
The symptoms point to a graphics-driver issue rather than a faulty mouse. The temporary graphics reset confirms that the display driver is getting stuck, so updating or rolling back the Intel Arc driver is the most useful next step. If neither helps, reinstall the driver using the laptop manufacturer’s support package instead of only removing the mouse driver.
That makes sense. Since different mice have the same problem, I’ll try reverting to the older graphics driver while waiting for a fixed update.
