How can I mount an Anker power strip securely to a perforated PC stand?

I have a JWX Gaming Computer Tower Stand and an Anker 351 Power Strip (A9192). The strip is currently held to the side of the stand with the included straps, but the straps cover some of the outlets.

The back of the power strip has two keyhole mounting slots, and I still have the original Anker screws. The screw heads fit the keyholes correctly, so I would prefer to keep those screws. The stand has a perforated metal mounting panel, and the screws fit through its holes, but the holes are larger than the screw shafts, allowing the screws to move around.

What would be the cleanest way to secure the original screws to the back of the perforated panel? I would like to avoid drilling new holes, keep the original screw heads, prevent the power strip from wobbling when plugs are inserted or removed, and leave every outlet accessible. I was considering washers, spacers, bushings, nuts, or an insert that could take up the extra clearance.

The simplest option may be a strong double-sided mounting tape, such as a heavy-duty 3M strip. It would eliminate the straps, keep the outlets clear, and avoid having to adapt the oversized holes. Clean and dry both surfaces first, and use enough tape to support the strip without covering any vents or controls.
