Is My High-End Gaming Build Solid, or Can I Cut Costs Somewhere?

I'm planning to put together a high-end PC build that I want to last for 3-5 years, focusing on solid 1440p gaming at 120fps while also multitasking, like gaming, web browsing, and transferring media in the background. Here's what I'm looking at:
- GPU: Zotac RTX 5080
- CPU: Intel i9-14900kf (though I might switch to i7-14700K)
- CPU Cooler: Deepcool Ak620
- Motherboard: MSI Z790
- RAM: 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz Klevv Bolt V Amd Expo Intel Xmp Cl28
- M2 SSD: Samsung 990 Pro (no heatsink)
- PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 850W Gold ATX
- Case: Montech Air 1000 Premium (white ATX)

The total comes to about 93,840 baht, or around $2,805 USD. I'm wondering if I can go cheaper on any of these components or if I'm overlooking something important? Thanks for any advice!

Just a heads up on the motherboard—you should specify which MSI Z790 board you're getting since there are several options. It might help others give you better suggestions on compatibility.

It's an MSI Z790 Gaming Plus Wifi. Thanks for the tip!

If you're looking at better multitasking and gaming overall, the 9800X3D could be an option, though it's currently out of stock in many places. Just keep an eye out for it as it's a solid choice for your needs.

I've checked, and I can't find it anywhere. Looks like I'll have to stick with Intel for now.

You might want to consider switching to the i7, especially for multitasking. An i9 is powerful, but for gaming and some background tasks, an i7 should do just fine, and it may save you some cash. Also, with the i9, expect more heat output, which you’ll need to manage. Here's a review that shows how close their performance is at lower resolutions.

Thanks for the info! So if I'm gaming and transferring files at the same time, I likely won't see a big difference between the i7 and i9? That extra 3 FPS doesn't seem worth it!
