Help! My PC Freezes After Upgrading Parts

I recently upgraded my PC, swapping out a 2060 for a 7800 XT and moving from an i5 to an i7. I'm super excited about the improvements, but I'm facing a frustrating issue. After playing for extended periods (like around 6 hours), my PC hangs! The sound distorts, gets really loud, and then everything freezes up. I can't do anything except turn off the PC manually, which is concerning since it might damage the system and I lose my game progress. It seems to have started after I installed the new components. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I've also applied new thermal paste and checked for dust or stickers on the components. Currently, my system is running at a steady 45°C at the lowest fan speed, even with max graphics settings on high. I'm letting it run overnight to keep an eye on the temperature.

Did you apply the new thermal paste correctly, and did you remove any protective stickers from the CPU cooler or the CPU itself? Those could definitely cause issues if left on!

Yeah, I made sure to apply fresh paste and I think I took the stickers off, but I might double-check just to be safe.

Make sure to monitor your temperatures closely. Using a tool like HWiNFO can help you check if anything is overheating while you're gaming. Overheating could lead to the kind of freezes you're experiencing.

Are you saying my monitors could be overheating?
