Feedback on My First PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and while I know some things in theory, I'm definitely a bit of a noob when it comes to actual building. I've got some experience disassembling gaming laptops, so I think I can manage. I live in Ukraine and have prepared pricing in both UAH and USD. I've got some questions about my CPU cooler, case, and power supply. I'd really appreciate any recommendations for better options, especially if I can get a good deal on them. Here's a quick look at my potential builds: option 1 is with a Radeon 5070 and a Samsung G4 1080p monitor, and option 2 is with a 5070 Ti and a Samsung G50D 1440p monitor. Here are the summed prices for them:

- 5070: 76,756 UAH (~1843 USD)
- 5070 Ti: 90,576 UAH (~2175 USD)
- 5070 with 1080p: 86,655 UAH (~2081 USD)
- 5070 Ti with 1440p: 101,875 UAH (~2446 USD)

By the way, I already have the Samsung G4 monitor so I'm unsure if I want to buy a new one right away or wait a bit. I also have a 2TB SSD from my laptop, so I only need a 1TB SSD for this new build.

Your PSU is a solid choice according to tier lists, so no issues there. I didn’t find many reviews on the case though, did you pick it for its design? For the CPU cooler, the one you selected is good, but maybe you could save some cash with something like the Thermalright Phantom Spirit EVO, which cools just as well at half the price. As for your GPU, I recommend sticking with the 5070 Ti for now and upgrading your monitor later. Also, I found the Ventus 5070 Ti for about $100 less than the Shadow version, so that might be worth checking out!

I’ve heard good things about the Thermalright models, but they’re not available here. I went for a case that has a dust filter and four fans; I just wanted something functional. About the monitor, I’ve already got the G4 and a Lenovo Legion laptop, so I might just keep my options open for a second monitor later.

Both builds look solid! The 5070 should handle 1440p pretty well for most games. But what's your main gaming plan? If you stick to 1080p and play less demanding titles, you could save on the CPU and GPU costs. Just something to consider!

Good point! I'm not looking to upgrade for a while and I think the 5070 will struggle with 1440p over time, especially with VRAM. I've had issues before using upscalers, so I'd prefer to avoid that.

I checked, and the case is perforated with a dust filter included!
