Thoughts on My $1,700 Gaming PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for feedback on my current gaming PC build, which is aiming to be around $1,700-1,800. The idea is to create a solid and somewhat future-proof system that can handle recent games at high settings while still being suitable for my daily use like web browsing and streaming. That's why I'm considering 64 GB of RAM and an 8-core CPU.

I'm also thinking about dual-booting, so I included a smaller SSD to keep my files and backups separate. For now, I'm sticking with two 1080p monitors for gaming but might upgrade to 1440p later. Do you think the RTX 5070 is too much for what I need? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Appreciate the suggestion! Can I ask why you chose the 9700X over the 7700X and the Radeon RX 9070 XT instead of the RTX 5070?

Thanks for your input! What do you prefer about the 9700X compared to the 7700X, and why would you go with 32 GB of RAM instead of 64 GB?

Your build looks solid! The RTX 5070 is actually a great fit for 1440p gaming, so I wouldn't worry about it being overkill for your current setup. It's better to have that extra power for future-proofing your rig!
