My PC Keeps Freezing – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I've been experiencing some frustrating issues with my computer lately. It keeps freezing when I'm just browsing the internet or typing in Word, where it often displays 'not responding'. During these freezes, I can't do anything at all—no mouse movement, no typing. The only way to fix it is to hit the Windows logo key, which somehow unfreezes it. I've checked the task manager when this happens, but nothing seems to spike to 100% or anything close.

I don't think Word is the problem because when I use it without OneDrive, there's no lag. But I still face issues while scrolling in Firefox. Here are my specs just for reference:
- i5-10400f
- 16GB RAM 3600Hz
- AMD 6700xt
- PSU 650 Gold
- Wifi PCIe module

Any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Make sure you're freeing up some disk space and check for Windows updates. Also, review the programs that start up with your computer and disable anything unnecessary.

You might want to try a clean uninstall and reinstall of your AMD graphics drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode. Also, temporarily try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox to see if that resolves the issue.

Have you tested your PC with different browsers? Sometimes, certain browsers can cause issues based on their settings or extensions.
