Advice Needed for My First PC Build!

I'm working on my first PC build and could use some guidance. Here's my current setup that I pieced together: [PCPartPicker link]. So far, I've spent around $600, but I still need to budget for a desk and peripherals to keep my total under $1500. My main use for the PC will be light gaming, along with digital art and audio recording. I want to ensure everything's compatible, but since I went with all Corsair parts, I'm hoping that's the case. What do you think?

If you choose AM5, a Ryzen 5 7600X would set you back about $200, and you might find yourself short on budget for a GPU. To maximize your build, think about going with an AM4 setup instead, which allows for cheaper components overall. Also, as a tip, a white case might not look great with all black parts—consider color coordination!

To really stretch your budget, grab an AM4 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 5600X (look for deals or combos). Throw in 32GB of DDR4 RAM, a 750W PSU, and a case under $100. A 2TB NVMe drive from Crucial or Samsung would be solid, plus a used or new GPU like the 4060 for around $300 would cover 1080p gaming well.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend getting a 4TB storage drive and a 1000W power supply if your main focus is just light gaming and some creative work. Those specs seem a bit overkill unless you have a ton of large files to store. Maybe look for something more suitable to your needs?

But you have to consider that they might have a lot of data to manage with digital art and voice recordings. Extra storage could be really helpful for those requirements.

How about this setup? Though, I'm a bit worried because that only leaves me with $250 for a mouse, keyboard, and desk. Do you think that's enough? Here’s the list: [PCPartPicker link]
