Why do my Xbox One controllers keep disconnecting?

I've been facing a frustrating problem with my Xbox One S and its controllers lately. For the past few days, they've been losing connection randomly, even though they initially connect and turn on the console without any issues. Nothing in my setup has changed in months, so I don't think it's a device compatibility issue. I've tried the usual troubleshooting steps: restarting both the console and controllers, power cycling, and ensuring everything is updated. I've also positioned everything closer together, but it hasn't helped. To make matters worse, three different controllers are all experiencing the same problem! I would really appreciate any advice or tips to resolve this.

It sounds like your controllers might be wearing out, which is pretty common. Xbox controllers can have a pretty short lifespan, especially if they start having issues like stick drift. Have you tried testing a different controller? Sometimes one might be okay even if others are acting up.

I get your pain! It could be interference if there are other devices nearby using the same frequency. Try moving any potential culprits away from your console, or even changing locations to see if it helps. It might also be worth checking your controller batteries, just to rule that out.
