Trouble Installing New SSD on HP Omen 25L

I'm trying to upgrade the SSD on my HP Omen 25L, which has an HP 8704 00 motherboard, GTX 1660 Super, and an i5-10400 CPU, along with 32GB of DDR4 RAM. The stock NVMe M.2 SSD is 512GB, and I replaced it with a 1TB Crucial P3 NVMe M.2 drive. I initially used Disk Genius to migrate my OS to a 2TB Seagate PS4 drive, but I can't boot from it no matter what I do. After that, I created a bootable USB with a Windows ISO using Rufus, but when I try to install Windows, I get an error that says I'm missing the correct installation media. Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you might be encountering the "Media driver missing" error, which often happens if the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) is active. Try switching your BIOS setting to standard AHCI if you can. If that doesn't work due to OEM restrictions, you could go to the HP support page, download the IRST drivers, and load them during the Windows installation when asked to load drivers. Make sure to extract the files first!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the BIOS settings and see if I can switch to AHCI. If not, I’ll look for those drivers. Appreciate the help!
