I'm trying to set up dual monitors on my older computer and I'm wondering if it will work with one monitor connected via VGA and the other through a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Both of my monitors only have VGA and HDMI inputs, while my computer has a VGA port and a DisplayPort. Will this setup work?

Absolutely! I had a similar setup. You can connect one monitor directly to the GPU and the other to the motherboard, but it's best to connect both to the GPU if you can. Just a heads up, you will need an HDMI to DisplayPort converter for this to work properly.

There's no reason it wouldn't work. If your computer supports multiple outputs and you have the right connections, you should be good to go!
