I'm diving into the world of Docker and Kubernetes after years of comfortably deploying anything on bare metal and virtual machines. I'm keen to find interesting project ideas that I can work on, especially ones that I can deploy on GitLab. I've seen plenty of open source projects like artemis-platform, ipfire, and jumpserver, and while they all seem like fun challenges, I'm looking for more suggestions. If you've got any ideas or know of cool repos, share them here!

I totally get you! I used to manage lots of OpenStack setups using tools like Ansible and Terraform, but now it feels like no one cares about that anymore. Ansible seems relic-like these days since some clients just want what's current. It's funny how quickly tech changes, right?
How about setting up a multi-node machine learning environment using PyTorch? You could utilize the idle CPU of your home PCs for training models. It’s a great way to learn Kubernetes while not worrying about production-level stress. I’ve been looking to do something similar but just can’t find the time!
That sounds awesome, MLOps projects are the future!
Absolutely, OpenStack feels like ancient history now!
