I'm facing a bizarre issue after reinstalling Windows 10 on my Lenovo laptop. My laptop screen is broken, and I rely solely on an external monitor, which was working perfectly until now. After a fresh install, the external monitor isn't being recognized at all. I've tried various installation methods, but the monitor hasn't registered during the setup process like it used to. I'm using AMD integrated graphics, and the only visible screen is the laptop's damaged one. The external monitor worked fine on both Windows and my previous installation of Bodhi Linux until this reset. What steps can I take to resolve this and get my external monitor working again?

Have you tried pressing Windows Key + P right after booting up? Sometimes that can force the system to detect external displays. If that doesn’t work, try it again a couple of times while toggling between settings.
It might be worth checking your graphics drivers. If you can open the laptop up, maybe disconnect and reconnect the monitor cable—sometimes that helps.
It sounds like you're missing some graphics drivers after the reinstall. That's definitely a common issue when resetting Windows. You could try to use Narrator to access the device manager and see if you can update the graphics driver from there.
I tried that too, but no luck. I can access the display settings using the Narrator, but it keeps saying it can't detect any other display. Seriously, it was working just earlier today!
