I'm curious about how others are installing and updating vendor-specific BIOS, firmware, drivers, utilities, and software. Here's what I've considered: 1. Using WSUS with the built-in drivers catalog 2. Combining WSUS with SCCM 3. Third-party software along with WSUS (like SolarWinds Patch Manager or Patch My PC) 4. Intune paired with SCCM 5. Just Intune on its own 6. Intune combined with third-party software 7. Windows Update for Business 8. Updating each device individually through Windows Update (though it needs to be in the Microsoft Update Catalog) 9. Using vendor tools on each device (like Dell Command or HP Support Assistant) 10. Manually updating one at a time 11. Other methods.
I'm specifically trying to find a way to push out HP BIOS updates and other driver and firmware updates through Intune-managed devices. In the past, we successfully used SolarWinds Patch Manager with WSUS when we managed everything on-premises, but it doesn't integrate with Intune now. We've switched to Patch My PC for other updates, but they don't cover vendor hardware updates. How have your experiences been?

As an MSP tech, I use our RMM to push a PowerShell script that automatically deploys updates based on the manufacturer detected. It streamlines the whole process!
For updating HP devices, you should definitely try HPIA. It allows you to run a single command line to install all necessary drivers and firmware. It’s super easy to set up with your management software to automate updates. Check it out [here](https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HPIA.html).
HPIA really is fantastic! They also offer great resources in the CMSL, which utilizes HPIA. I managed to get several EliteBook G9s to flash using it when nothing else worked. It's a lifesaver!
