I'm on a tight budget of $80 or less and my old GPU just broke, leaving me in a bind. I really need a graphics card for my aging computer. Does anyone have recommendations for good options that I can find in my price range?

For around $80-$95, look into getting a GTX 1070 or a GTX 1660 Super, but you’ll need to hunt in the used market for those. Alternatively, RX 580s and GTX 1060s can be found for about $40-$60 if you’re flexible.

Actually, it’s for gaming, but I just need something that can run basic titles; I’m struggling with games like The Walking Dead right now.

If you're set on spending $80 for gaming, you might be disappointed with the performance. For casual use, integrated graphics could work if your CPU supports them. Otherwise, check Facebook Marketplace for older cards like the GT 710 that often go for $30.

Great idea, I’ll take a look on Facebook!

You might want to check eBay for a GTX 1080; you could get lucky and find a decent deal on a used one. It's still a solid card even today!

That really depends on how old your PC is, but a 1080 is a great choice for a budget GPU!

An RX 580 would be a good match for your budget. It's still a decent card and can handle many games at lower settings.

Thank you for the info!

An RX 580 8GB or RX 480 8GB would fit your budget pretty well. I snagged an RX 480 for $60 recently, and while it’s not top-notch, it runs games decently on low settings.
