I purchased a pre-built PC from Costco UK about a year ago, and it has been working pretty well overall. However, I've noticed that even with the graphics settings set to Ultra in some games, the quality doesn't look as good as I'd like—especially since I use a TV as my monitor. I recently tried playing Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, and the texture quality was quite disappointing compared to how it looks on my boyfriend's MacBook, which runs beautifully.
I'm not very knowledgeable about PC hardware, so I would really appreciate any recommendations for upgrade parts that could help improve my graphics. My setup includes an AWD-IT Candidus 5 with an Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. I've even linked an eBay listing of the same PC to make it easier for you to check. Just to clarify, I'm not super tech-savvy, so please be gentle with any critiques. Thanks in advance!

A lot of your issue seems to be related to using a TV instead of a monitor. What model of TV are you using? Upgrading to a good gaming monitor could significantly enhance your visuals. With a proper monitor, you should see improved quality, just like your boyfriend's MacBook.

Thanks for the quick response! My TV is a JVC Fire TV 50'' Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED. I've been tweaking the settings on both the TV and my PC, but some games still look washed out and lack depth. Could this be due to using a TV?
