Hey everyone, I'm a bit anxious about my CPU temperatures and I'm not sure if my cooler is set up right. I'm using an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 cooler. Currently, when I'm just using my PC with no heavy games, my temps sit around 42°C. However, when I do game, especially in more demanding titles like InZoi on ultra settings, I've noticed my temps spike up to around 80°C, but they don't stay that high for long. Should I be concerned about these readings? What are normal temperature ranges I should be looking for? Thanks!

Honestly, your temps seem pretty typical. It might help to know the room's ambient temperature because that plays a big part. For reference, I have a similar setup and I usually idle at 39°C and peak around 75-80°C under heavy stress like Prime 95. You might want to check your thermal paste application; it should just be a thin layer, barely enough to cover the CPU lid.
Your temps are generally fine! Anything below 95°C is safe, so you don't have to worry too much just yet. Just keep in mind, using too much thermal paste can create a messy situation, so try to keep it minimal.
My room's around 22°C right now. I think I used the thermal paste that came with the cooler, but I'll double-check. I got a little worried seeing that spike to 80°C since I thought AIO cooling would keep the temps lower. Thanks for your insight!
