Are My PC Components Failing?

I've been hearing a humming sound coming from my PC lately, especially when I'm gaming—it gets really loud. Occasionally, my PC also stutters and the audio glitches. Should I be concerned that my hardware might be on its way out? Is this a good time to consider buying a new PC?

It sounds like the noise could be coming from a fan. If your PC is a tower, you might want to open it up and check for any issues with the fans or other components that could be causing the hum.

Just a heads-up, it’s a PC, not a desktop.

This might actually be an overheating issue. When you mention your PC, are you talking about a tower or a laptop? Knowing that might help narrow down the problem better.
