Hey everyone! I've got an MSI X470 Gaming Plus motherboard with a Ryzen 7 2700 CPU and an RTX 2070 GPU, along with 32GB of RAM. I mainly use this setup for video editing and gaming. I noticed that while I can run Apex on 70-100 FPS and maintain around 140 FPS in Rainbow Six, my PC has been freezing and sometimes going to a black screen during video editing. After about a minute, it returns to normal but the taskbar is missing icons, and I have to restart the whole system. I'm looking for suggestions on a new CPU and an AIO cooler that won't break the bank. Any recommendations?

If you're looking for a solid upgrade, consider the Ryzen 7 5700X or even the 5700X3D if it's within your budget. They can really boost your performance!
The Ryzen 7 5700X is a fantastic choice. For the AIO cooler, I don't use one myself, but I've heard good things about the Peerless Assassin 120 SE being a reliable choice.
Honestly, an AIO cooler might not be worth the investment. The best CPU option for your motherboard is definitely the 5700X3D. Make sure to check if your BIOS supports the 5000 series CPUs, though. If it doesn't, transitioning to AM5 with something like the 7700 could be beneficial, and AIOs aren’t really necessary there either.
You might also want to check out the Ryzen 5 5500, which is around $80 and offers good performance. The 5700X can be great too if you're aiming higher!

Yeah, I mentioned this in another thread and got downvoted, but honestly, if you’re spending over $300, switching to AM5 could be a better option.
