Best GPU for 1440p Gaming with Ryzen 5 7600X

Hey everyone! I'm building my first gaming PC and could really use some guidance, particularly on picking a GPU that fits my budget for 1440p gaming. I've chosen the Ryzen 5 7600X as my CPU and I'm not particularly worried about ray tracing; I just want good performance and visuals. Most of my gaming will be with titles from the mid-2000s to late-2010s, but I also plan to play newer games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom: The Dark Ages. I'm hoping this build lasts me about 3-4 years before I consider an upgrade. Aside from gaming, I'll be doing some light video editing and dabbling with small local LLMs. Right now, I'm looking at the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Is that a solid choice, or are there better options out there in a similar price and performance bracket for 1440p? Also, I've heard mixed things about the compatibility between Ryzen CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs. Is there any truth to the idea that NVIDIA works better with Intel? Will I encounter issues using a 7600X with an NVIDIA card? I've narrowed it down to the RX 7800 XT, RX 9060 XT 16GB, and RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. Any suggestions or personal insights would be much appreciated! Thanks!

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a good pick. AMD CPUs and NVIDIA GPUs are generally compatible without issues. I've built PCs for over a decade, and I've never encountered major problems. There might be minor performance differences, but it’s not like the old days when compatibility was more of a concern.

I was leaning towards that too, but I heard NVIDIA may not fully support PhysX anymore for older games. Is that legit? Should I consider the 4060 Ti or the 9060 XT 16GB instead?
