I recently had a mishap with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and now the glass is cracked, even though I've always had it in a case. Unfortunately, I didn't purchase Apple Care+ because I've never experienced any issues before. The screen still functions fine, but I'm worried the damage might worsen if I don't get it fixed soon. I'm located in Burlington, Vermont, and Wires Computing is much closer to me than an Apple Store. I've never taken my devices to a third-party repair shop for something as new as this. Has anyone had experience getting their newer iPhone repaired there? Do they use quality parts, or should I bite the bullet and go to Apple instead? I'm hoping to avoid a long trip and the shock of official repair costs, so any advice or other repair options would be really helpful!

You definitely get what you pay for in these situations. If Apple handles the repair and things go south, they’ll replace the device for you. Plus, they offer a national warranty. It's a tough call to make!
If you want to keep your warranty safe, going through Apple is the wiser choice. That said, many third-party shops can handle cracked glass repairs without issue, provided they have the right parts. Wires Computing does fix iPhones, but I recommend giving them a call first since the components for the 15 series can be different.
That's definitely my main concern too! I really don’t want to void my warranty, so I’ll definitely call them to check if they have parts for the 15 Pro Max before heading over.

It really is a tough decision! Do you know if there’s any sort of discount or a lower price option if I choose to go with the Apple Store?
