Can I still use my email for a new Apple ID?

Last year, I created an Apple ID on my Android phone when I subscribed to Apple Music. Now that I'm getting an iPhone, I wanted to start fresh. My plan was to delete my email from the old account and use it for a new one. However, I'm currently unable to access my Apple account for some reason, and I'm worried about losing my primary email, which I rely on for everything. Will I have to forfeit it?

Resetting your password is the easiest route. Just keep using your existing account if you can. It’ll save you a lot of hassle.

Once an email address is set as the primary for an Apple account, it can't be reused for another account right away. You could either regain access to your original account or just create a new one with a different email.
