Can I Still Use My Email for a New Apple ID?

Last year, I created an Apple ID using my primary email address while I was on my Android phone for an Apple Music subscription. Now that I'm getting an iPhone soon, I want to start fresh by deleting my email from the old account to use it for a new Apple ID. However, I can't access my Apple account at the moment, and I'm worried that I might lose my email, which I rely on for almost everything. Is my email now unusable for any future Apple ID?

If your email has already been set as the primary for an Apple account, it can't be used for another one unless the original account is deleted and you wait several years. I recommend trying to regain access to your original account rather than creating a new one.

Why not just reset the password for the Apple account you already have? It’s a lot easier than trying to create a new one with your email.

Once an Apple account is linked to an email, you can't use that email for another account, even if you delete the original one. Your best bet is to regain access to the account holding your email.
