I lost my phone a few days ago, and I believe its battery was nearly dead at the time, so it's likely turned off now. I tried using Find My Device, but there's no signal or location showing up. I heard about an app called MFinder that might log the phone's location even before it powers off. Has anyone used this, or does anyone have tips on recovering a phone that's already turned off? I would really appreciate any advice!

Honestly, tracking a phone that’s turned off is tricky because it can’t send any data or location info. If you didn’t have tracking features like Find My Phone enabled before you lost it, there’s not a lot that can be done. However, check your account to see if you can view the last known location before it died.
Good idea to look into solutions like AirTags. If you stick an AirTag on your phone, you can track it even if the phone is off, as long as it got some power at some point. Just a thought!
Yeah, AirTags are awesome for that! Just gotta make sure it’s attached before anything goes wrong.
I heard about MFinder too, but any app that logs location needs to be installed beforehand. Once the phone is off, it can't transmit any data, so nothing will work at that point. Just make sure to report it lost to your provider as well.
If you have an iPhone, there’s a built-in feature that allows tracking even when it’s turned off. It’s best to reach out to Apple support for help if that’s the case. They can potentially assist in locating it.
That's solid advice! And if it's an iPhone, they can sometimes be tracked even when off, but you’d need to check with Apple support for that.
