Can I upgrade my CPU without reinstalling Windows?

I'm looking to upgrade my current setup from a Ryzen 3 3200G to a Ryzen 7 5700X and switching my motherboard from an Asus Prime A320M-K to an Asus ROG B550-F Wi-Fi II. I'm currently running Windows 11 and want to know if I can do this swap without reinstalling the OS. I'm planning to ensure that the BIOS settings (like SVM, Resizable BAR, XMP, and TPM) are correctly configured to minimize any potential issues. I've also got the AMD Adrenalin software installed for both my CPU and GPU drivers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You might be able to make the swap without reinstalling Windows, as issues typically arise when changing motherboards. I'd suggest keeping an eye on the BIOS settings, though, just to be safe. It might also be worth asking why you don't update the BIOS on your current A320 before making the switch, just to see how it handles the 5700X.

Are the VRMs of the A320M-K good enough for a R7 5700X? I've noticed my 3200G heats up the VRMs quite a bit. Plus, I'm hoping the B550-F will give me better connectivity, so changing the motherboard seems like a good idea!
