I'm building a gaming PC and I'm curious if I can run 4 sticks of 32GB DDR5 RAM on my X870E motherboard. I have an AMD R9 9950X3D processor and I'm considering the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB, which runs at 6000MHz with CAS latency of 30. For anyone who's tried a similar setup, how stable was it, and at what speeds and timings did you manage to get it working?

It all comes down to the silicon lottery. Your ability to run that memory speed depends on a mix of your CPU, motherboard, and RAM, and varies greatly from system to system. You might need to run the RAM slower than its max speed if you want that much capacity.

Totally agree, luck definitely plays a part in how well everything works together!

It might work but there's no guarantee. Some users got 4x32GB running at 6000 MT/s by tweaking various settings, while others couldn't even get their system to boot with that config. So, it’s a bit of a gamble. Also, the chipset doesn’t play a significant role in this.
