I'm trying to figure out if my new gaming PC can manage 4K gaming at medium settings. Here are my specs: I have an AMD Radeon 7800 XT GPU, a Ryzen 7 7700X CPU, an MSI MAG A850GL power supply, an ASRock X870 Pro RS motherboard, an Arctic Liquid Freezer III cooler, a Lian Li Lancool Mesh II case, Corsair QL140 dual fan kit, and Kingston Fury Renegade 2TB SSD. Will this setup work for 4K gaming?

Absolutely, it can do 4K, but not for every game. Upscaling is an option if you're okay with fluctuating performance.

Yeah, just keep in mind it might not be the best long-term solution!

Honestly, while it may handle 4K, you’ll probably enjoy 1440p much more. It’s a sweet spot for performance and visuals.

If you look at the benchmarks, it averaged just over 60 FPS on high settings, so it should work for you.

Yeah, your setup should be able to handle 4K gaming, but I'd suggest playing at 1440p for better FPS and smoother gameplay.

You might want to check some benchmarks on YouTube for your CPU and GPU combo to get a clear idea of performance in actual games.
