Did I make a mistake paying $350 for a used 3080 12GB?

I just bought a used RTX 3080 12GB for $350. I'm planning to use it for gaming at 1080p, watching on my 4K TV occasionally, and for some engineering tasks including 3D modeling and rendering. Was that a good deal for a card in that price range?

Looking at sold listings on eBay and similar sites, if the prices are higher than what you paid, then you might have overpaid a bit. But don’t fret too much about it! Prices can vary a lot, and you should enjoy the upgrade anyway! $300 is the sweet spot for a used 3080, but $350 is pretty typical for these cards right now.

You probably paid around 20-30 bucks more than you could have, but it's hard to snag a good deal on these cards lately. I’ve been searching for a 3080 Ti and the prices are just crazy. Honestly, it may have been the best option on the market!

I hear you! I used to be all about AMD, but I faced a ton of driver issues with my CAD software back then. 3080 cards are in high demand right now, so it’s tough to find great deals.

$350 for a 3080 12GB is actually a solid deal. I personally would have preferred a different card, but the 3080 is still a fantastic GPU. Just make sure it’s in good condition!
