I'm planning to use an R5 7600X CPU with an MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi motherboard, along with 2x32GB Kingston Fury Beast 6000MHz CL30 RAM. Do I need to update the BIOS to get everything working properly?

You don't actually need to update the BIOS for that CPU; it's supported right out of the box. But I still recommend updating it just for better stability and features.
No, you should be fine without a BIOS update. However, I typically update to the latest version anyway just to avoid any potential bugs down the line.
You technically don’t have to, but there are various bugs that might be fixed with an update, like some M.2 slots being misidentified. I updated mine to resolve a WiFi detection issue, and it helped a lot.
