Do I really need to reinstall Windows from scratch?

I made a mistake while trying to fix my computer that wouldn't boot after an NVIDIA driver update. I tried to start safe mode using the command prompt and entered 'bcdedit /set {current} safeboot network'. Now, I can't even access the Windows recovery environment because I'm getting a stop code: INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE. Do I need to completely reinstall Windows?

It sounds like your boot drive got corrupted from what you did. That happened to me too. Just make sure you have your Windows key handy, because you might need it for a reinstall or repair!
